Middle Tennessee Authors Circle tent · PumpkinFest, Main Street, downtown Franklin

Franklin’s PumpkinFest runs two days for the first time this year, and on Sunday the Middle Tennessee Authors Circle has a tent on Main Street. I’ll be under it from eleven to five with a stack of Jetson’s Journey—a novel set in this town, written before I’d ever seen it. One week after the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville: the same table, a good deal closer to home.

Books at the table. Signed copies of Jetson’s Journey: hardcover $31, paperback $20, plus sales tax. Already have one? Bring it and I’ll sign it. Bookmarks are free—Jetson’s Journey on one side, Riverspook on the other.

The Authors Circle is a group of Middle Tennessee writers who share a tent at festivals like this one; the rack out front holds all of us at once. Thank you to Tom Wood, who organizes it, for the Sunday slot. Our tent is space 206 on Main Street, in front of an ice cream shop.

Can’t make it? Order a signed copy: Hardcover, $39.99 shipped · Paperback, $28.99 shipped, plus sales tax. Landmark Booksellers on Main Street carries the book year-round.

Next in person: “Writing Franklin” at the Williamson County Public Library, Monday, November 30, at 6:00 p.m. Details and registration.
